Graders:
You
will be required to read 3 approved
books for the second trimester. You
may select your own books, but there are some guidelines that need to be
followed when selecting your books.
1.
Each book needs to follow the genre that I have
selected, and every book will have a different genre.
2.
The books must be approved by me before you begin reading
3.
Each book should be a “good fit” book
4.
Each book must be finished by the due date specified
below.
Book Genres & Due Dates:
*Book #1: This should be a realistic fiction book, and is due on
January 7th
*Book #2: This book should be an autobiography book and is due on
February 4th
*Book #3: This book is a free choice. You may choose any book that
you would like to read, as long as it is approved by me
first. The 3rd book is due on March 5th

You are expected to bring the book you are reading
with you to class everyday. If you are having trouble finding
a book to read, please see me (ASAP), and I will give you some suggestions.
